School for the Arts
Cokesbury’s School for the Arts is enrolling music and visual arts students of all ages and skill levels. Professional instructors teach at our Summit Park Campus weekdays and evenings. We also offer an exciting concert band program for adult beginners! For more information contact Sandy Spivey at 501-3808.

The Spirit Singers
The Spirit Singers are the chancel choir for the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Anyone interested please call Phil Igney at 476-5818. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Summit campus music suite.

Summit Park Contemporary Chorus
The Summit campus Contemporary Chorus leads the congregation in the "Reach for the Summit" worship service each week. Anyone interested in auditioning for the chorus, please call Sandy Spivey at 501-3808 or email him at sandy@cokesburyumc.org. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the 9th Avenue campus sanctuary.

Instrumental Ensemble
This group meets at 7:15 pm on Wednesday evenings in Room 412. There is room for everyone who plays a musical instrument.

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in the 10:45 a.m. worship service each week. They also perform major works at Christmas and Easter accompanied by an orchestra. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00.

Jubellation
Jubellation is a handbell choir that rings a five octave set of Schulmerich handbells. They furnish music on a regular basis for the 8:00 and 10:45 worship services. In order to be a member of Jubellation, you must be able to read music. Jubellation rehearses each Wednesday evening from 6:15 - 7:15.

Contemporary Worship Band
The Contemporary Worship Band is the instrumental and vocal ensemble for the 9:20 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service. Membership in this group is by invitation and audition only.
This group rehearses Tuesday evenings at 7:30.

Praise and Worship Band
The Praise and Worship Band is the instrumental and vocal band for the Saturday Night, 6:00 p.m. Praise and Worship Service. If you are interested in helping out with this group or service, please contact Rev. Stuart Worth at 850-476-4578. Membership in this group is by invitation and audition. This group rehearses Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:15 PM

Youth Music Ministry

Son Seekers
The Son Seekers encompasses grades 6-12 and lead worship three times a month (primarily at the 8:00 a.m. service). A choir tour in June focuses on a program with a strong Christian message. They will be touring Florida in June 2007. The Son Seekers rehearse on Sunday afternoon from 4:30 - 5:30.

Children's Music Ministry

Littlest Angels
Littlest Angels is the youngest choir in the Music Ministry program at Cokesbury. It is a choir for 3-4 year olds. Rehearsals are at 5:45 pm on Wednesday afternoons.

The Merry Music Makers
Rehearsals are each Wednesday afternoon in Room 421 at 5:30 p.m. Directed by Sharon Stauver, the children learn about basics of music in a variety of ways and are exposed to scripture through the music they sing. They furnish music frequently for Sunday morning worship, as well as participating in the "Hanging of the Greens".

The Merry Music Makers join the Asbury/Wesley choir each year in a Spring Concert.

The Asbury/Wesley Choir
The Asbury/Wesley Choir, grades 3-5, sing frequently in worship. They also present one or two musicals each year and participate in the "Hanging of the Greens". Rehearsals are Wednesday afternoons from 5:30 - 6:15 pm.
